Also, the mobile app will show you your watch history, but doesn't currently differentiate between "watching" and "watched".
We've talked about this, but, at the moment we don't have plans to include these topics in bassu.tv. FLW did multi-species for years in one magazine, then divided out bass into it's own magazine. The feedback we've received is that most anglers who are interested in our product are primarily interested in bass fishing only.
And a happy New Year!
So far, I've not seen any screenshots of the what you see on the unit. I've seen the equipment data sheet and some graphics of what it's scanning (the landscape view looks interesting). We will work with Humminbird to get information as soon as possible.
I'm confused about this question, if the shoreline is 20ft away, you can only see to the shoreline, you can only see what's in the water. Can you provide more information?

Just a confirmation that we are working on this from a technical and logistical standpoint and hope to have information and tickets available for purchase shortly.
Tentative first classes are set for 1/23/21
The tickets for January 23rd are now available. https://bassu.tv/ticket
mohawk, I'm afraid not. After the live event, we will piece the recording up into individual seminars that will be released weekly to the bassu.tv video library. We do have some of the recordings already on the schedule for February.
Also, we've added new classes for Feb 19th & 20th. 5 anglers are committed to these dates so far: Brandon Cobb, John Crews and Hank Cherry on the 19th & Jake Whitaker and Patrick Walters on the 20th. Tickets are available now at https://bassu.tv/ticket
Yes, it is scheduled to happen in February. Stay tuned for more exciting developments later this month.
I hope you are continuing to learn. Are you fishing a lake Eufaula? If so, we have seminars from some Oklahoma anglers that might be helpful:

Kevin, we are posting a new promo link today in the Member's benefits. We've been fighting some fires this morning.
The code you posted was for January Zoom class students and is now expired. We have a new link that goes up today, but it is only for members, so we don't post it in the public forum. It will be on the Member Benefits page (should be before 5PM).
Thank you for your patience.
The new 15% off Tackle Warehouse link, as well as all our other special offers are posted for subscribers at https://bassu.tv/special-offers
The Tackle Warehouse offer is good through the end of Feb.
Thank you, we think you are pretty awesome too!
At The Bass University, out moto is "never stop learning". We don't offer diplomas as there's always more to learn!
We were able to locate most of the presentation slides and will be adding them back shortly. We have been adding presentations slides to recently-added seminars for which we had the files. I believe we have over 300 powerpoints to match up with the correct seminars, and there's some technical work to do for each one to make it work, but we'll begin that process soon. Thank you for your patience.
We had grass 2 years ago on Norman, but they sprayed it and killed it. Admittedly, the hydrilla was growing like wildfire in the 4'+ visibility of the south end of the lake, and Norman is really a recreational lake for Charlotte's denizen's who are prefer it to Wylie's less pristine waters, so they're prefer not be covered in nasty hydrilla when skiing and swimming. I don't know the answer for Gaston. Personally, I would say to roll with the punches. I never caught a spotted bass until I moved near Lake Norman, I grew up fishing High Rock almost exclusively. Norman was a completely different type of lake, and I HATED IT.
Now, catching schooling spots are some of my most memorable moments on Lake Norman. I have seen first hand that they outfeed the largemouth, easily. Honestly, the largemouth are like the family dog getting the scraps from the table. I almost always catch a largemouth or two after the schooling is over with a weightless fluke that I just let float down like a spotted bass had killed it. In either case, tournaments are still won with some bigger largemouth on Norman, but I feel like spotted bass are easier to pattern and will still bite when largemouth shut down.

If you already have a full cart, I think you can enter the code at the end of the link on the special offers page to apply the discount as well.
Topic: Advice for transitioning from being a "numbers" guy to being better at catching big fish
JT Kenney pretty much across the board is against the "catch a limit first" mentality. Personally, I can't shake it, I calm down after I have 5 in the box, but, as JT argues, what's the point of having 5 losing fish that you have to release if you're going to win anyway? I guess I'm stuck in the "get a check" mindset instead of going for the win. There are some videos on getting kickers (including one coming up from Patrick Walters on Thursday)

Seeing as how you're from Minnesota, I can't think of anyone better to watch for geographical relevant content, and he flat out puts the hammer down on some 6lb smallies.

We've talked about additional features for watch history and watch lists. We'll note your request for this feature in our future development discussions.
Topic: Advice for transitioning from being a "numbers" guy to being better at catching big fish
We had some technical difficulties with an 1HR+ on the water from Oliver Ngy yesterday. It's now set to publish today. I've seen the first half, and he's talks a good deal about why big swimbaits were the missing piece between him catching 3-5lb bass and catching double-digit bass. Of course, he's talking about California, but I think he's accurate in saying that the bigger bass were there, they weren't biting "traditional lures" (including traditional sizes). He starts off talking about the Megbass Magdraft, which is my absolute favorite bait. A 6" swimbait seems intimidating, until you catch your first non-keeper 13" bass on it, then a few cast later have a 4lb. spotted bass hit it like a truck. I didn't get to fish much last year, but the previous year all my biggest bass were caught on a Magdraft swimbait or a Tokyo rig with a 1/2 to 3/4 oz weight and a twin-tail skirted grub, fishing it like a wobble head. I like the Tokyo rig over the wobble head because it keeps the bait up higher. If I were trying to catch big bass to win tournaments, I'd be throwing these most of the day.

Unfortunately, all the services want to "own" or "manage" the subscriptions. As a result, subscribing on YouTube would mean that YouTube is the only platform on which you could watch the content. We want our subscribers to be able to pay us directly (keeping subscriber's cost lower by not paying 30% to these services), then be able to login to any platform we support. Currently you can watch content through our website or one of our mobile apps. Some devices will allow you to "cast" or "screen mirror" or "project" onto a compatible TV or Roku/Chromecast device. There are tutorials online for doing this with various phones/laptops and televisions/devices. I hope this helps.
Are you using the "full screen" button at the bottom of the video player to go full screen? In the video player, there's a button that looks like 4 arrows pointing out diagonally (next to the "gear" settings icon). If I use this button in the app, I get a the correct full screen experience. Please let me know.
I'm not sure why it seems like only Samsung has this issue. I did have this problem with my stock trading app though, so I just set the screen timeout to an hour. I checked, and, at least when the phone initially launched, the maximum timeout is 10 minutes. While searching I also came across this feature that may help, which keeps the phone on while you're looking at it, perhaps that will help:
