SECTION 1 - INFORMATION

When you purchase something from us, we collect such personal information as your name, address and email address. We do not receive or store your credit card information.

When you browse our services, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address, and any information provided by your internet service provider (ISP) and web browser.

With your permission, we may send you emails about our services, products, promotions, updates, etc.

SECTION 2 - CONSENT

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, it implies that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we ask you directly for your expressed consent, we provide you with an opportunity to say no, or we provide with the information needed to opt-out (as in the case of AdWords).

  1. Credit card information is not stored by The Bass University.
  2. Information we collect is encrypted for transmission and stored behind a firewall.
  3. Your order's transaction number and dollar amount are stored for usage and billing purposes.
SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.

In general, the third-party providers used by us, collect, use and disclose your information only to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as Braintree payment gateway, Tackle Warehouse e-tailer, and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

We do not store any personally identifiable information in browser cookies. Cookies are only used to maintain login sessions and ensure proper session state between your browser and The Bass University servers.

SECTION 9 - CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our services are acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to serve you.

SECTION 10 - ADWORDS

This website uses the Google AdWords remarketing service to advertise to previous visitors to our site. Our advertising could be in the form of an ad on your Google search results page or on a site in the Google Display Network. Google use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to a website. No personal data is collected by us. Any data collected, such as IP address, is used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.
