Jigs
What is the best way to fish a jig? I have tried everything
It depends, are you fishing around laydowns, grass, stumps, open water, etc.? This time of year, fish should be more active, so you can move it more aggressively (you usually don't have to let it sit for a long time). If the water is stained and there's shallow water cover, you can flip (drop it) in bassy-looking places and hop it up a few times. More open water situations, you can fish a swim jig. These are just some examples. Success in fishing jigs can be in the details.
