Bill Lowen won the Bassmaster Elite bass fishing tournament on the St John's River in Florida. He's also had another good finish at Okeechobee on the Elites (27th place) and Santee Cooper on the NPFL (4th place). Bill put a jig to work in all those events. In this live show recording, Bill talks with Bass University Live about why his spot held up on the St Johns River, but how he didn't think he had enough with only 4 bass on the final day. He discusses a key fish that he caught punching, and how sometimes you just have to trust your gut instincts. This class also covers the differences between Lowen's swim jig and flipping jig designs, his skirt colors (and how he puts them on), some of his favorite trailers and which trailers pair well with different weight jigs.
