I'm ready to get one, but every time I me I go to TH marine when think of it, they are out.
However I hear the speakers go out, but main question is how do you know the speaker goes bad? Can humans hear this thing?

Listen to the Dean.
I will add this.
Bass fishing is full of sound theory ,and some
Proven science. As they say you can't easily
catch another man's fish. There are rarley any magic bait theories either. That is to say, if you ask me what bait are they biting. You may not work the bait the way I do. It's best to figure things out on your own, but you can learn from bassu for example. Basically what I am saying is you could ask each pro the same questions and get different answers. It is not that one pro is better, nor one knows more. Basically alot things are situational. One pro might have seen a scenario before and capitalize. Another may have just missed it (say 2nd place) therfore he has a sound theory on why. There also is a degree of luck albeit not typically the type with winning a lottery. What I tell folks is this.
Understand as much about bass behavior, learn to fish the weather ( before you go and the day of) and understand a Bass has a pea sized brain, dont give them too much credit. However understand they been here 1000's if not millions of years and they did not survive this long if they were not adaptable.
Remember they Basically want to do three(3) things.
1. Reproduce
2. Be comfortable
3. Survive
I would argue that alot of pros would agree on alot of the same things, such as how to work a jerkbait. It's up to you to gain knowledge from all pros or sources and put together your own experiments. I listen to all sides then apply a okmans razor approach. If it makes sense I run with it until I prove it differently.

If I may add to my post.
My 3 bullet points. above.
You asked about drastic change on lake.
If reproducing has already taken place so say we in summer. So now what...what's left is being comfortable and surviving. If the weather was drastic they are no longer comfortable and may go into survivor mode.
In other words Drastic weather could effect the eco system therfore Bass do not want to waste calories for a bit...thus survival mode.
Eco system settles down...now they comfortable boom they start feeding.
Winter is same deal.
They find best spots on lake. Typical can be were shallow water meets deep water. They don't want to burn lot calories in winter.

Use these examples and it to me, makes it easier . Gather as many clues from catches, yet understand often things that effect a bass air bladder may effect the bigger ones more than smaller bass.
