The Humminbird 360 should be mounted on a transom with live scope, Mine mounts on a jack plate with brake away safety no screwing in the boat. I use a Linear actuator mounted on a transom this one is better than the one Humminbird stopped making. Remember you only deploy at idle, you don't have to let trolling motor down this is very important when scouting for structure Yes you lose 20 feet upfront but you gain 20 feet on the back this is good for river fishing backflow bumping with spot lock! You let the current carry your bait to the fish !

In a large lake very deep in places, 100 feet is common Smith Lake Alabama. I have a hard time finding baitfish on my electronics nothing wrong with my unit . Do the pros run into this on deep lakes? Thank You

They are placing fishing habitat structure in lakes but they are not posting to the public the GPS locations . They just put 85 PVC fish habitat in Duck River Cullman Alabama . They were to post the gps location for the public they have not posted . This is the samer thing that happen in Florida . This is a scam !
