Spinnerbait blades
If the water is 20 feet deep, clear, sunny day warm water. How small of a willow blade could you throw on a 5/8 spinnerbait head without it messing with the action of the spinnerbait? Will only going to big on the blade make the spinner lay flat or will going to small do something to the action as well?
Well generally a 5/8 spinner bait comes stock with a number 6 willow on the bottom and a number 3.1/2 or 4 up top. Down sizing the blades won’t mess with the action of how it runs it’ll only take away the vibrations it puts off. Fishing in 20 ft of water would definitely call for a blade change or a super slow presentation on a 5/8 spinnerbait to keep it down that deep. Maybe going to a 3/4 or 1oz spinnerbait would be a better bet. There’s also a spinner bait out there called a Rocket Shad from StrikeKing that works really good for me with deeper depths. It’s only a 1/4 oz bait but it has a very compact design to get you down deep quickly. Hope that helps!

Thanks. Oh I forgot to ask if you were in dirty water is a double Colorado more effective then a single Colorado?. from what I've found the single blade has more vibration but to me it seems everyone is using double blades and not any single blades.
Hi prefer a double bladed Colorado in muddy water. Depending on how it’s set up. You’ll have more vibration, noise, and flash with the double.
