New Rods

I am looking at getting 5 new Rods and reels. What is the best setup that would be in the $200 price range for each combo? I was looking at Dobyns Fury Series. They look pretty good in the $130 range. I fish in Alabama and most often on the Coosa River chain, occasionally Guntersville.

It depends on what technique you are using. You don't want a pool cue rod to fish finesse baits. Nor do you want a buggy whip to fish a big jig. For me, I prefer a medium action rod with a fast to moderate tip for spinning gear, most often 7'. For casting I generally use a medium or medium heavy rod with a fast tip anywhere from 6'6" to 7'3". These rods will handle most any bait I want to throw. I really like the BPS Pro Qualifier 2 reels. They come in 3 gear ratios, 5.6, 6.8, and 7.5.

The Cashion rods are great, but sounds like they are a bit above your budget if you're looking at $200 combos.
The Revo X spinning reels are Brandon Cobb's favorite, at $120 with a 6.2:1 gear ratio, they will pick up some line quickly.

These Zata combos (7' & 7'3" MH) may be a 1-stop shop at $209 (the reels retail for $189)

This Revo S combo is also a good all-around 7' MH baitcaster in your budget
