Glass over carbon rods

Hey guys... What are some pros and cons of glass rods compared to carbon fiber rods ? Also, in what situations would you prefer glass over the other ? Thank you Professor.

I use glass when I don't need a fast action rod to work the bait and/or I want to ensure I don't pull the bait away from the bass and/or I need a softer tip because I'm using a no-stretch line:
For example, I almost always fish a glass rod when I fishing a crankbait. Sometimes I fish a chatterbait on a glass rod, particularly when fishing a no-stretch line.

I dont think mine are pure glass but prolly mostly.
I use them for cranks sometimes spinner baits and sometimes top water plugs
