Best braid color for walking frogs

I've heard everything from it doesn't matter to lighter in color is better. I have a frog rod that is solely used for walking frogs and want to know the perfect color? I'm thinking that the fish would be feeding up and white or light blue might be best with the sky in the background but realize the fish will sometimes follow the frog first and white might stand out too much. Whats the perfect color braid for frogs?

I personally like power pro original moss green 50lb. I keep a extra wide permant marker in the boat with a notch cut out on the tip of the mark. Once my line starts to fade I will color about 10 to 15 ft of line. Sunline makes a “frogging and flipping “ braid that is blue, black and I think a little bit of white. I have tried it but I did not notice an increase in bites so I went back to power pro original bc I like the way it cast and I prefer the moss green color better.

Great tips Derek. I personally use Gamma Torque. Its green/olive in color. It looks like the grass I'm usually fishing a frog around. I believe that line color invisibility is always something to factor into my fishing.

Since Pete introduced me to frog fishing the Upper Bay I have been experimenting with line color. I too have wondered about the white background a fish must see looking up at a surface presentation.
This year I am using three identical frog outfits, each with a different line color: Spiderwire Ultracast Camo (brown-black-green); Spiderwire Ultracast Invisiline; PowerPro Green. Should be an interesting experiment!
