Side imaging set up

I’ve been running my side imaging out 115 feet in 455hs am I missing key information running it closer in Megahertz?

I'm not sure about the mhz portion, but I am unable to see small cover like small stumps or isolated rocks on my 10" Helix at more than 75ft.
