Video playback on Android app

When I am watching videos on my phone, the screen will start to go dark unless I touch it to wake it up. Is there a way or could y'all make it so the screen stays awake while watching videos? It's just an inconvenience but not a deal breaker.

Hey, I had this issue as well. I went to the settings and change the screen timeout to "Never go to sleep" or something of that nature. You have to remember to turn it off when you're done to save your battery, but this resolved my issue.

It's just an inconvenience to do that when all other apps that play video stay on when you go to fullscreen mode. I know there are workarounds but just wanted to see if I was missing something within the app. Thanks!
