Skipping frogs

With the fish moving into their summer patterns, I’ve gotten into skipping frogs under docks and overhanging brush. My question is about line - what line setup is best for skipping frogs; Straight braid? Braid to floro leader? Straight floro? Also, what pound line is best?

If you have any other tips to maximize efficiency, hookup ratio, rod/reel setup, and minimize backlashes any information would be greatly appreciated.
