Humminbird Question

Derek - graduate

Hey guys I recently switched from Lowrance to a Humminbird Solix. The internal memory is full and my track is not being recorded anymore. Is there a way (other than deleting my current track) to keep adding to my tracks? I really liked the feature on Lowrance with having as many trails as you want. I have not added a sd or mapping card yet.

Hey,
Yea, you will need to get a SD for large trail data. You can always clear it weekly too. I have a solix and helix and both get cleared every 2/3 weeks of tracks.

Hope this helps.

Happy New Year Derek. . . did the SD card work for you? I'm like Bassn Aint Easy, I clear my old tracks every so often also.

With an SD Card I can fish most of the summer before tracks become an issue, I usually delete them just to clean up my screen a bit as I fish a local lake and track the same paths a lot.
