New to bass fishing

I currently learned how to wacky rig and have been successful catching up to 20 a day! But I cannot seem to catch bass on any other baits. What's next for me?

My goto lure is a shaky head! I use a 1/4 oz head, and a small trick worm, green pumpkin. If my worms aren't working and I may goto top water.. I've also goto a ned rig when fishing is tough. When fishing other baits fish it slow.

I agree with EasyE. I like the Ned rig, lots of fish that will bite a wacky rig will probably also bite a Ned Rig, but since it has a light weight (I think I'm using a 1/6th ounce weight), you can catch them on the fall. If it gets to the bottom, you can fish it around like a shaky head a bit and maybe get some bites from bass that aren't hitting the wacky worm, or are deeper than you want to wait for a wacky rig to sink. Finesse jigs are a good choice.
Where are you fishing? What are of the country? Pond, lake, river?

North Carolina I got a couple ponds and the nuese river, it's dark water but has bass.

The wacky rig is a great tool to get started with. If I have to pick the next three techniques to add to your arsenal are as follows; jig, chatterbait then squarebill crankbait. You can fish a jig in the same types of places the wacky rig works. It also is fished on the bottom. The jig has a reputation for catching bigger fish. When your ready its time to get into the moving bait catagory. Chatterbait and squarebills are a great place to start.

I agree with the Dean, if you want to catch year round fish in ANY depth. Pick yourself up some chatterbaits. I prefer Z-Man Jackhammers because they come through cover easier and they have thread tied skirts. However the elite/customs I still use in heavily pike infested waters so I do not feel heart broken when I break a 16$ bait off.
