i've never had one belly up from a little bleeding. there are all kinds of "tricks" for bleeding fish but getting them back in the water quick is best in my opinion

i've used a motormate since they came out, both on my 20 year old Nitro as well as my Ranger and have never had a single issue with it, and that is on Louisiana roads (like a 3rd world country road) so that is saying something. i put a lot of miles a year on my boat/trailer some trips over 500 miles one way

mine has been extremely wet a lot of times and still works flawlessly
