My local fisheries consist of large and small rivers fishing for bath small and large mouth bass! River depths rain from 6” in the back waters to 12’ in the channel! Like any other river system rains can change the layout of the fishery in a matter of hours. My question is how much current is to much current? When do these fish start to abandon island points and normal current breaks to start to hold tight to cover closer to shore or in the backwaters? Obviously not looking for a exact answer just curious on experiences!! Thanks!
