Robert C Willard : Fishing Forum Posts

Hello Jason, the website is awesome and the content is priceless. I live in South Carolina and most of the lakes in my area like Clarkshill and Murray are herring lakes. I would love to see an all season approach to these types of lakes. It would also be sweet if you guys had a local give updates in this area like you do some other parts of the country. Thanks,Robert

Great video!! I fish a herring lake in GA/S/C (clarkshill). I’d like to know why most traditional shad baits imitators that Casey talks about( spinnerbaits, jerkbaits) wont work for bass feeding on herring. Is it about the speed of the bait retrieve? Why is topwater the deal most of the summer? Do herring bait ball up toward the surface more than thread fin shad in the warmer months? I just am not sure why herring lakes fish so differently than shad only lakes? Thanks,Robert

Casey Ashely’s video was awesome. Please do some more videos for herring lakes. They fish so differently than other lakes at times. I’d like to see a full seasonal approach and full bait line up on herring lakes. Great job guys, Thanks,Robert.

Seems to be a one time discount? That’s discouraging. The Rapala VIP is awesome!! I wish we could get the same continuous discount with a soft plastics manufacturer. Since rapala owns half of 13 fishing is there an opportunity to get a discount with them?? Thanks!!

That was a Great video. Thanks to Brandon and Bass U for that on the water lesson. Brandon does a great job helping us SC/GA fisherman who fish these herring lakes. Keep up the good work! Robert W.
