Lot’s of retirees that bass fishing and there’s nothing like gaining knowledge from an elder. You can also check out the oldest guides in your area and book a trip with one. It’s good to know the way they prefer to fish and book a trip with those that fish techniques you’re lacking in. Personally I try to book a guide once a year to learn something from the guide. Be sure and ask questions while out with the guide. If your only focus while fixing with someone else is catching fish then you’re not going to learn much. As a good rule you always want to fish with someone that’s a better angler than yourself.
