Hello,
Bass U. And all of the Awesome Anglers!
Here is my Question whats your go to Bait when the water is below 45 Degrees? Do you slow down..Speed up...For Me I go to Lip less Crankbaits (Rattle traps) In a red craw Pattern! My go to approach is to YO_YO the (RT) I would cast it out let it sink to the bottom let it sit at first like 30 seconds as long as you can wait! Then I rip the Bait off the bottom letting it flutter back on slack line then repeat back to the boat! MOST STRIKES happen on the on the fall so be ready when you Go to rip it back off the bottom! Always watch your line some times you will see that your Lure only Sank 6 feet when it should have sank to 11 or 12 that is most likely a fish so set the hook lolol
Have a Great Thanksgiving

Hey Bill, You can ask us anywhere, hahaha. Lipless is a great tool in the 40's. I just fished a derby last week and the water was 48. All our fish where caught on Lipless. Here are some other great choices in the 40's. Suspending jerk bait, blade bait (Silver Buddy, Heddon Sonar, etc.), hair jig. These are my best choices when the water temp is cold and falling. That yoyo lipless technique is excellent so keep using that one.

Thanks Dean,I love the forum I will try to post often and get folks on twitter more involved in Bass U, I was all geeked out when I posted because this is a really cool deal you can really talk fishing and get good content..you can post hear and still keep things close to chest.. But still get great information or give...Would love to fish one day I am Pond away lolol from the (Dean) lol and would love to talk more.. I Would also like to talk about social media and how anglers should conduct them selves, talk about branding, Marketing and how to use social media as a way to gain followers or fans, You Know All these things I'm sure but it is the way of the future and social media is the hottest thing n BASS fishing and I think it would be a great Segment or show or even a Discussion at a Bass U event.. Thanks Again for your response God Bless Wild Bill PS I will be at charity Dinner finally Healthy enough, I will also be fishing the tournament in 2019 and a few winter league after the Holidays...
