A bunch of friends and I are making our first trip to the Big G the last week of March 2023. My question is about line. Around home I usually use 8# and 12# mono. I know that won't hold up there, but I have been told to use 15 to 17# P-Line Floro. If we have to fish mats, I'll switch to braid but what would ya'll suggest? I do have a crankbait rod, a worm rod, top water rod, jerk bait rod and a spinning rod for shakeyhead. Thanks.
