Just started up a subscription today. I used to bank fish 11 years ago, but I stopped for awhile. I wasn't very seasoned and was still learning. Well, push comes to shove and my youngest wants to learn to fish. I jumped on the opportunity, and got back into fishing. I really enjoy this because it gives me something to do other than stay stuck to a screen, and my youngest is the outdoors type thank goodness.

So within 3 months, we've bank fished, pier fished, and recently bought a used canoe rigged with outriggers. Now we're boat fishing in the lakes all the time. I've certainly caught more, but not as much as I'd like to. My kids, are still waiting for their first bites, along with learning how to cast and retrieve. I do my best to teach them, but other than technical and logistical information, I don't have enough experience on the water. I know that will come in time. I'm also not very social when I fish. Its either me with my kids, or I'm alone catching some peace and quiet. I get more knowledge the more I'm out on the water though just from being out there.

To not make this a novel, I've learned the rigs I like, and bought some tackle to match. My kids like those rigs for now as well, but favor crankbaits. They're getting into the t-rigs though which is nice (less hang ups). I'm hoping to gain some good knowledge from these videos and just from other members as well. I'm still on the fence about Bass U but, maybe in the next 30 days we'll become better fishers. So far, learned a bit about twitching a t-rig; wish I didn't have to work tomorrow so I could go out lol.

Anyway, hello! And looking forward to gaining some knowledge.
