I frequently have done the month to month reoccurring subscription for a few years. I let my subscription lapse at the end of 2021. I've gotten several emails in the last month or so with offers to renew my membership like recieve $50 off an annual membership. So I selected it but when I authorized the transaction it processed for a monthly reoccurring. When I contacted customer service they told me that was just for new subscribers. I replied then why are you sending the offer to former members. Just deceptive marketing if you ask me.

I'm glad that you were able to do so. I never attempted to select free trial. Only to get thr $99 annual. When I submitted it for processing I got billed for something I never selected and couldn't go back a change anything.
